Moldova Missions Trip
April 4 - April 11
The country of Moldova is located in eastern Europe, between Romania and Ukraine. A former Soviet republic, Moldova gained independence in 1991 with the dissolution of the Soviet Union. It was also part of Romania between 1918 and 1940. The official language is Romanian. Moldova’s economy is the poorest in Europe and relies heavily on agriculture. Many grandparents are raising their grandchildren as the middle generation seek employment opportunities outside of the country.
We are joining with Convoy of Hope’s Field Teams program to partner with the local churches through assisting with outreach events that are hosted in local villages by handing out groceries, putting on programs for children, delivering coal for heating homes through the winter and more. Also, there are opportunities to help build playgrounds and places for the local people to gather, fellowship, worship, learn, and eat together.
Total estimated cost is expected to be around $2,000 this includes airfare and ground cost. The trip is limited to 11 people — apply now using the button below!
